So back in 2011, Kevin Durant had his fourth signature model out which was one of the best sneakers being rocked on the basketball court and in the streets at the time, and arguably the "Weatherman" colorway was the best shoe of the year. And now fast forwarding to 2013, KD is continuing his famed meteorologist theme by releasing a "Meteorology" KD VI. This shoe was first shown in Durant's hometown, Seat Pleasant, Maryland, at the KD VI launch event, featuring a black upper with red accents, and the appearance of a topographical map/grid pattern on the toe-area Nike swoosh, back heel, and tongue lining. The shoe also includes Zoom and Max Air units, and Flywire technology for that lightweight support. The Nike KD VI “Meteorology” is set to release at Nike Basketball retailers this Saturday, August 3rd for only $130.
