This article by The New Yorker is fairly interesting as it takes you inside Unique Hype Collection, an aftermarket shop in Chinatown, New York, reselling Supreme at marked up prices. It talks about the owner and his daily job as a "major flipper", as well as the pros and cons of the resell game. I think this article is very insightful about the current streetwear aftermarket, especially for those who know nothing of it. I, personally, am not a fan of resellers as I feel it somewhat tampers with the culture, but you honestly can't be mad at this guy. He analyzed the target market, saw an opening to make profit and took it, not just a quick sale or "flip" to buy other things, as most sellers do nowadays. But checkout the article for yourself and comment below with your thoughts on Unique Hype Collection.
