According to The Wall Street Journal, Miami Heat star, LeBron James, has only worn his new signature shoe, the LeBron 11, two games this NBA season. As we all know, it's common for an athlete, regardless of which sport they play, to wear their newest shoe for that season. But if you've been paying to James' kicks on the court this season, you can tell that he hasn't. It's now being reported, by sources close to LeBron, that "he has had an issue with the fit of the shoe and as a result has been mostly wearing last year’s model"; which is the LeBron 10. .” Last night, LeBron commented on the footwear malfunction saying, "I just want to be able to wear them. It has been a frustrating process. But obviously, I know that Nike wants to do what’s best. They’re not going to put me out there in harm’s way. So we’re redefining the shoe to fit what’s best for my foot. I could wear them, but they don’t feel as great as I want them to feel. So we’re redefining them, and I feel like this next round is going to be perfect."

So with all that being said, if the athlete himself is unhappy with his own sneaker, are his fans too? Do those who own LeBron 11's find them to fit uncomfortable? And should those who purchased the Bron 11 (a $200 dollar shoe) get a new pair of the "redefined" version? I don't think you should get a new "redefined" pair, if you have already bought the shoe, because if they were uncomfortable or not suited to your likings, then why'd you buy them...? Especially if you're playing basketball or doing physical activity in them (which most people don't anyways). I was just curious about that after seeing the proposed question in the article. What do you guys think? Comment below.
