As Nike continues the "Prelude" collection of Kobe Bryant's past signature models, leading up to the release of the Kobe 9, we witness above the "Prelude" Kobe IV. Released back in 2009, the Kobe IV was designed by Eric Avar, with its low-cut and lightweight makeup. That same year, the Black Mamba and the LA Lakers won the NBA Championship bringing the Lakers franchise its 15th overall. As a tribute, the sneaker sports a purple and gold colorway with paint splatter all across the shoe.
